The Brief
To increase awareness of Visit Jamaica, Komodo led an integrated influencer activation in partnership with global fashion giant, Boohoo.
Visit Jamaica wanted to showcase the culture, diversity, adventure and beauty of their country and target a wider market of millennials who were seeking new travel experiences and keen to discover exciting destinations.
Komodo hosted 9 influencers over 6 days to drive social growth, spark engagement and create fresh new content. Boohoo were selected as the brand partner as their colourful, bright summer campaign and marketing strategy aligned perfectly with Visit Jamaica. Komodo planned, executed and delivered the activation in April 2019.
Our Activation
The ‘social first campaign’ combined both brands social platforms together with 9 influencers and 4 leading creative feeds. The total campaign reach targeted 11.1 Million followers with a total of 20 posts and 131 stories shared. The Daily Mail picked up some of the influencers posts and shared them online.
Visit Jamaica collaborated with Boohoo to offer one lucky Boohoo customer the chance to win a place on the activation and join the trip of a lifetime. The competition saw an increase of 4k followers on the visitjamaica instagram account.
Komodo leveraged Boohoo and Visit Jamaica’s brands by aligning their marketing strategies to expand their audience reach and directly target new consumers whilst heightening awareness and engagement to increase sales and bookings.
