Business Development Manager

Position Description

We are looking for an organised, ambitious and energetic business development manager to help us expand our clientele within the US and wider global markets. You will be assisting members of the US office across a varied number of projects helping to drive revenue by closing and managing deals with a wide variety of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients who would benefit from Komodo’s services (Cold calls/emails, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Help to develop in-bound leads and respond to inquiries from various lead sources, including all marketing campaigns, website programs, call-ins, email, conferences and other channels.
  • Drive lead generation campaigns and complete accurate tracking of communication with potential and existing clients/partners using a CRM system (Hubspot).
  • Schedule exploratory calls and send introductory emails to potential clients.
  • Actively understand our services and industry trends to effectively communicate the value proposition and ROI of Komodo’s services.
  • Support strategy team across new business opportunities with appropriate team members within Komodo.
  • Manage and foster client relationships.
  • Network at relevant events.
  • Manage projects from conception through to completion.
  • Detailed data entry to ensure all sales tracking is up to date.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. hubspot)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficient in LinkedIn Sales navigator
  • Marketing/Business degree is preferred
  • 3 Years minimum previous working experience in business development or sales roles
  • A thorough understanding of the social media and influencer marketing landscape
  • Energetic and creative
  • Hard-working and team-oriented
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport

Talent Manager

Position Description

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious, and hard-working individual to join as a Talent Manager. The talent manager will be expected organize and advance the careers of the array of influencers talent that Komodo. They are responsible for seeking job opportunities for clients and representing your clients’ interests during the negotiation of contracts, ensuring their own objectives are met, while ensuring their selection is aligned to the given clients campaign objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new relationships with talents’ desired brands, negotiate deals, and drive greater revenue/repeat business
  • Strategise with talent, advising on their career development
  • Manage press and media activity for talent
  • Scout and onboard additional talent
  • Arranging performances or publicity events for clients
  • Handling accounting matters
  • Enthusiastically complete other misc. tasks when required

Skills Required

  • Proven working experience in a relevant role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • University degree qualified in a relatable field (business/marketing)
  • 3+ years experience in a talent management role, ideally working within the influencer/model world
  • Confident communicator
  • An understanding of industry trends
  • Contacts in the industry are desirable, but not required.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and PR
  • Proven capabilities of generating new business.
